  • Introduced agentic development practices for a 20-engineer team, including agent instructions and review standards that improved consistency in Rails view code, design-system adoption, and UI PR quality.
  • Created a shared skills repository for common engineering workflow tasks, helping the team codify repeatable agent-supported development patterns.
  • Co-created the Gierd Design System, with 20+ reusable components implemented as Rails view helpers and adopted as the canonical UI foundation for the product platform.

  • Managed and mentored front-end engineers across teams, averaging 3 FE engineers per initiative; conducted technical screens and partnered with recruiting to expand delivery capacity.
  • Led front-end scoping and RFP responses, supporting roughly $10M in signed engagements over five years.

  • Wilson QBX Bluetooth-connected football: Technical lead for the product launch, shaping the React, Next.js, Tailwind, and ECharts front end; platform now adopted by NFL, Division I college, and elite high-school football programs.
  • Peak Performance Project (P3) Athlete biomechanics platform: Architected the front end of a data-visualization application serving hundreds of professional athletes and used in the NBA Pro Basketball Combine; React, Next.js, ECharts.
